TotalEnergies and its partners Eni and QatarEnergy have signed an agreement with the Lebanese government to enter the offshore Block 8 exploration permit, reinforcing international interest in Lebanon’s upstream potential despite recent drilling setbacks.
Under the agreement, TotalEnergies will act as operator with a 35% stake, alongside Eni holding 35% and QatarEnergy owning the remaining 30%.
